The Black Diamond Distance 1500 represents the highest level of headlamp engineering in the Black Diamond range. Designed for fast-paced overnight endurance pushes and technical night terrain, it delivers up to 1500 lumens of maximum output via PowerTap Technology, with enough battery capacity to last an entire night at a moderate setting.
An engineered multifaceted optical lens combines depth lighting for spotting obstacles with smooth, diffuse light for consistent visibility without shadows or artifacts. Constant-output programming provides continuous lighting before dropping to reserve power mode, and the interchangeable magnetic battery pack swaps one-handed without stopping, featuring an integrated red rear flasher for added visibility on the trail.
The Comfort Cradle sits low on the head, contouring to eliminate bounce with dispersed padding and an optional removable top strap for additional security in technical terrain. Helmet compatible and IP67 rated, the Distance 1500 is the headlamp for athletes who refuse to let darkness slow them down.
